The technology in the novel, Fahrenheit451 is an important source to readers to understand the story and the world in the novel. This is because technology shows what their world looks like and how people are different and emotionless. In the beginning of the novel, when Montag’s wife Mildred got sick, some people came home to fix her body with two machines which were replacing the doctors in their world. One of them was operated by an equally impersonal fellow in reddish brown coveralls. This machine pumped all of the blood from the body and replaced it with fresh blood and serum. Those people did nothing but turned on the machine. They didn’t care about the woman’s condition they just asked Montag for money after they pumped all of the blood from the Mildred’s body and replaced it with fresh blood. It seems so emotionless and they treat people as an object. The world in the novel, people are living with no knowledge and no emotions but happiness and I think this is a nightmare of our future technology.

Thats interesting because we can all definitly see changes wiht technology were it is taking jibs from people. Its interesting to see if we will have an Irobot like society in the near future. It would be scary to have robots that act like humans, the scary part is how could robots have emtions and if you have a bunch of “things” that are more effective than humans and emtionless, you have a bunch of psychopaths and thats scary
